The Team Behind FlexibleX
Flex Datapin Technologies has built custom business software since 2007, on one governing idea: applications should adapt to how an organization actually works, not the other way around.
That philosophy grew out of deep roots in the Microsoft stack — SQL Server, .NET, and enterprise data warehousing — and has since expanded onto modern cloud infrastructure without losing the discipline of a data-first, standards-based build. FlexibleX, the company's flagship platform (flexiblex.com), is the product of that discipline: a multi-purpose ERP configured and re-configured across industries and years of continuous production use, rather than rebuilt from scratch for every client.
Two teams carry it forward — Flex Datapin, the distribution and delivery office based in Uganda, and FlexibleX Developers, the global engineering team that maintains the platform and pushes it into new technical territory. That global team is not a marketing phrase: it runs its own developer portal (dev.flexiblex.com), a community of 500+ certified solution architects, and an annual bootcamp & hackathon program that trains new developers through the same platform, API, and AI/RAG curriculum described in Focus Area 7 — the pipeline that keeps the platform actively maintained and improved long after any single implementation goes live.

Daily automated backups replicated to Google cloud storage, keeping Mission data recoverable independent of any single provider.
Security and uptime are treated as first-class requirements, not afterthoughts: production workloads run across redundant providers, backups run daily and are automated, and access follows the same role-based permission model described throughout this proposal.
Lead Consultant
John Awebwa leads this engagement with more than 20 years in enterprise data and applications engineering. He is currently engaged as a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer through Robert Half Consulting, building Azure Data Factory and SQL Server reporting pipelines against Oracle Fusion for financial and operational reporting — the same discipline this proposal applies to Mission activity and budget data.
Earlier in his career he served as Flex Datapin Technologies' Cloud ERP Apps Implementation Engineer & Consultant, where he built the AWS cloud architecture behind FlexibleX's .NET application layer and personally developed the integrations connecting it to Uganda-specific services — the EFRIS tax e-invoicing API and Flutterwave mobile money — the same category of local-system integration this Mission would need. His most recent work, translating unstructured documents into governed AI knowledge bases and building agentic workflows in n8n over Azure infrastructure, is the direct precursor to the RAG and AI-coworker capabilities described in Focus Area 7.
